cheers guys! they get feed market shrimp, lance fish, bloodworms cichlid gold! bowfins will eat anything if hungry enougth thou!

i keep mine well fed i was asking what you were feeding in case you were feeding something to make the green come out so bright like that in them. i feed mine varied diet but still its only a brown color with a little yellow around the tail
 
sure its male? females dont have green bellys! and just keep them happy! cichlid gold enhances the color in any fish!
