have 2 erys at 6".put them in with 3 chevron snakeheads approx4-6.5" .after a few hours due to the hyperactivity of the SHS,the erys started to try TORPEDOING up n out of the aquarium,banging loudly the aquarium cover.i quickly separated the 2 erys from the SHS and into their own tank.....ALSO,its not a good idea to keep multiple erys 2 gether.the smallest n least aggressive ery will surely die from bites to the tail.TOO much competition = eliminate competition..TRUST me.it happened twice.i had 13 erys now only 11 are remaining.9,i have since given to relatives.......hope this helps.........regardsteggner;2911032; said:

sorry,i mixed up polypterus with my west african LF(protopterus annectens annectens).disregard this message....
do you have any full tank shots so i can get a feel for the aquascape? I've heard heavily planted and lots of floating plants, but that's not too feasible for me since I don't like CO2 and doing lots of pruning.
Really interested in getting one of these...hopefully in the next couple weeks. Small max size and not too pricey. Sweet fish guys.
Okay, well an LFS in Milwaukee hopefully will be able to get it when I order in some fish for next week.
Where can I purchase one online or at a lfs in Los Angeles? I have tried aquascape but there out of stock whilst shark aquarium takes 2 days which I can't wait for.
