Xilomaniac-didn't mean to flame on you-but just learn from it-next time a fish is injured or beaten atleast try to let it recover.

If you had a kitten that got ran over and wasn't going to make it would you feed it to your dog. Just because in the wild a dog might eat a injured kitten to save a few days of dog food. To me it sounds like a person who thinks fish don't have feelings, but I could be wrong. Either way sorry for your loss.
You're using mammals, which have emotions, as an analogy for fish?

I guess I worded it badly-NHI! You have a right to your opinion it's all good-but I have noticed on other threads you seem to go against the grain-just to go against the grain-I don't know just my observation.

Yes I know it's your observation, but can you please direct me to a link at least?

Hercren-let it go-you obviously know your stuff about fish and I was glad you and I could debate about this topic without insults-anyways I think we are beating a dead horse here so as Jim Rome would say "I am out" or is it "I'm out"

i had a j.d. that beat up oscars, cons, b parrots, granted i got him from a guy who did the "right" thing and got "rid" of him because he was just plain nasty, but i thought with my experience and numerous tanks i could settle him and introduce him to one of my communities...... i was wrong, he was ultra aggresive and viscious rather than pass him on, or create a species tank which i could have i didnt beleve he was a true example of a j.d. ive had j.d. that lived with oscars peacfully for years but anyhow i fed that monster not to my jag but my rbp, that jd stood his ground but not for to long, he had finally met his match! mean fish meets meaner fish! i could have dropped in the jag tank but that would have been cruel!

Well all, after this thread i hope i've undergone my initiation to MFK:)haha. As with anything else, lesson's are learned best the hard way and this one was no exception:( Apreciate all the kind responses and advice given on the mater,..

welcome, we are all "keeping" fish in tanks, thats kinda cruel in and of its itself, true fish lovers wouldnt want to "keep" fish, i eat, catch, and keep fish i suppose im the fishes worst enemy, but thats why im part of MONSTER FISH KEEPERS!

In that case you should have said "They are similar" instead of "They are the same". The word "same" means "identical", FYI.

i said NEAR exact before you try flaming me, maybe you should read my post.
