Putting the Parrot to a FH will give you Kamfa FH fry. Crossing the tex to the parrot is the first of MANY steps to making SRT. As for the RD-x-Tex, I just wouldn't pursue it thats all. Its not something I would have any interest in and its just not going to produce anything worth anything. If I were you and interested in some crossing then I would put the parrot with the tex or the parrot with the FH and see what you come up with... My personal quest would be the attempted SRT mixes.

Yeah that would be cool Bean , Im gonna sit and see what comes outta this. I have a KKP X Texas youngster as well , i will show pics soon.

Hey Bean has anyone bred a Thai Silk to a Parrot yet ? You got very valid points ....

Sort of an offshoot from the original topic, it's possible to get some decent fry from a first gen parrot x Texas cross. Here's a local guy's first gen carpinte x parrot:

Pretty nice RT, but getting SRT will take some time and line breeding. And it's not that common to get a good looking fader in a first gen batch like that, I had 2 batches of carpinte x parrot and didn't get a single fader or shortbodied fish out of hundreds of fry, the guy that bred the one above got numerous shortbodies and a couple faders in one batch!

Anyway, Texas x RD wont get you any closer to an SRT. As bean suggested, try the parrot with a nice male FH to make Kamfas. You'll get a lot of really different looking fry and some really unique good looking pieces. Here's one that I bred, RD x BP:

That is awesome , my friend did a Escondido x BP and maybe 7 were orange based , about two Orange with pearl ,others had no pearl , I think maybe 2 faders . I have a Escondido x BP Male , he is pictured below. He is in a tank with Two kamfa flowerhorns , a BP and 5 African Cichlids. So im sure in his own tank he will look nice.

Anyways here is a pic of him.

A friend owns some exactly the same , very cool looking. Im wondering if this is a female what will you breed it to to create awesome fish ? I would use a SRT but if you dont own one what will you do ??

I would say just buy a real nice SRT that's available on Aquabid. They have lots of female there if you're looking for that. That will cut so much of your time trying to make an RT-based offspring. I had an RT that I crossed with a parrot and the fries were kamfas and like Nick says, they were all different from each other.
