I feel like quitting fishkeeping.... things never seem to work right for me.
plus, i get bored of fishkeeping. anyone feel this way or is it just me?

Sometimes I feel like stopping .. But then I feed my fish :D And I feed them CORRECTLY :) With LIVE FISH :) and all thoughts of quitting go away :D

Well I don't get bored just frustrated when things go sour in which I hate. I just thought of quiting or taking a break a couple weeks ago but everything turned out great after wards and I am buying more fish and tanks now so everything is going good for me as of now.

I love qutting, I quit football just for the sensation of uitting ;)

No, im with you on this one. Usually happens when i go to tally up through guesstimates how much ive spent and when my fish are such jerks to each other that i just feel like trading them in and selling thier tanks.
Usually this feeling passes in a day, making it a good thing i dont act on impulse.
Plus its annoying when people look at your fish like thier nothing special when they have no idea how hard they were to get, how long it took the fish to get that size, and how much maintence it sometimes takes.

I've spent over 50,000.00 dollars on this "hobby" and over 20 years of my life mostly banging my head on a brick wall in frustration. Not sure I'm willing to give it up or get bored with it though... I guess to some this is more than a hobby it is an obsession and part of ones life. It is more than just fish in boxes of glass to ogle over.

Who cares what others think.. take pleasure yourself knowing what you have achieved. This after all is really all that matters.

Not me. I love to kiss the toes of my loaches (if they really have toes).:nilly:

quitting fishkeepin does not appeal to me @ this point in my life.
However, quitting other things can be a rewarding feeling.
quitting smoking must be the hardest.
quitting a job can be fun.

I cycle through all my hobbies, but Im never without an aquarium I just spend more time on certain one's.

Even though its a lot more work for one tank. When fishkeeping is what I don't have time for, I have a reef aquarium. When its my primary hobby (Temporary focus) then I have multiple FW systems and no reefs.

I do too much crap.
