Ever offer your fish people food?

Out of idle curiosity, I just offered a scrap of bread to my silver dollars. They took one taste each and went nuts. Granted, they're silver dollars, but they sure seemed to like what I was offering them. I don't intend to feed them bread on a regular basis, of course, I just wanted to see what they'd think of a few crumbs.
Anybody else ever try this?

Once in a while I feed McDonalds fries with a side of double Mac and shake to myself and scrappings to my fish. Love this combo

I never ever bought my piranha fish food. Chicken, beef or whatever meat I had. I would chop up some fish I would catch and give them it as well.
I had a 55 gallon and got too big fast and got rid of them. I was like 14 at that time lol
