Actually yes. When I had my first 2 Mosquitofish, the biggest one often chased the little one around. Occasionally I would take them both out of the tank, and release the smaller one back in, then wait 5 minutes and release the bigger one in. It worked, but not permanently.

LOL i love it when i put my fish back in the tank though. They look so humble for the first day or so, then they start getting brave, then back to normal and another time out lol.

Ok it's me again. I find that putting them in timeout AKA separate cell :) usually does not work. The reason being is that fish are smarter than you think. Some fish have great memories that can remember their previous tankmates that they bullied. As soon as you put them back into the general population sometimes it only takes a matter of min/hours for them to recognized they were once there and resumed bullying their friends for lack of a better word :)

Never tried it to that extent I never like to net my fish for any reason other than a long term move etc. But I love the picture! The look on his face is hilarious.

haha yess!! i had a betta and i would put a fake owl next to the time out tank when he was bad and it worked well cuz it was scared of it.

You have to talk to them like they understand for maximum effect or so I have found.

It really works well when I tell them I COULD COOK YOU !!!!!!!!

:ROFL: LOL!!! probably scared the hell out of them.
