UNTRUE.

Some Hydro species are hardier than others. What you have heard is a myth about Scombs. There are PLENTY of Payara over 6 inches out there still growing. It is true that they are not the easiest fish out there to care for.

DB junkie, how do you tell the difference between scombs and hydro?

What other tips do you have for keeping them happy other than lots of space?

thanks,

WHy do you guys feed gold fish to your fish? They have very little to no nutritional value to them and can make your fish sick... I just don't get it.

cause they are just that stubborn. my armatus wont even look at anything that isnt alive and moving. only thing you can do to help is gutload feeders to help alittle.

try hooking tail end of a silverside to a fishing line and jerk it around in the tank.

how small is the smallest species, someone just asked this but no one answered.
