I thought I read some where in the paper a lil while ago about Fluoride being added to the tap water? Do you think this is what it might be? Im real curious about the water thing (I do 50% weekly changes on my 300 too)
 
You should just look into getting a whole house charcoal filter. It would work great for water changes. Just hook it up when you are filling the tank.

I'd be interested if there shipping on some of the dry goods.
