I'm sorry to hear this, Serg! Good luck with your sale!

Thanks guys, wait till you see the pics I took for my water company, just in case.

Okay, I went home for lunch, the rest of the fish look okay like nothing happened.

I'm begining to think i did not dose enough water conditioner, and that these older apartments I moved too require that I up the dosage for tap water to be safe.

So I'm pretty sure I killed my fish.

For the mean time, this sale is cancelled until I test out another water change.

I'm sorry to those who will be disappointed, but I thank everyone for their support, especially my friends who took their time to talk me out of this.

Either way, this is what happened last night:

baldwin park has one of the cheapest water rate according to my instructor. unfortunatrly the quality isn't good. i am glad they r not my water company even though i complained a lot about my water company jacking up the rates to repair facilities. sorry that u r victim of this

thats awful, I began reading this thread earlier but didn't have the time to respond. Glad that you going to keep on keeping. Sorry for your loss. Curious that the dels were the only ones that died.

Yeah, it's getting more and more bizarre. My other dels are fine, but all the polys were showing signs of 'gasping' last night after the water change, but I guess most of them were resilient enough to get through.

You would think the small angels and loaches would've croaked though right?

It was my smaller of the larger dels that succumbed, and almost all the babies.

I think I have one or two left in there, I have to move sword plants around when I get home tonight.

This has been THE worst tragedy in my time in this hobby/life, but like others have said, suck it up, accidents happen, get over it. And I think jerppyjerp said to quit being so 'romeo and juliet' about it lol

One of the figures I look up to the most in this hobby also told me I should stay.

So that's what I'm gonna do. Sorry to waste everyones time.

Dan... funny you say that. Monday last week I did a big water change to my 7" VATF grow out tank and I came home to him gasping for air. I have an air stone and a rena bla bla... (everything he has used for the past months) so I paniced and did another water change, only this time I made the water level low so the rena would splash the surface... he is fine now. Before that I had a sudden prob with an Ansorgii... maybe 5 days before that. WTH? Maybe its just me but they are fine... as of now:irked:

Sorry to hear about that Serg... and if you do decide to stay, PM me and Ill hook you up with one of my Ansorgiis to keep you motivated;) (if your not Ser, dont PM me about it:D)
