Did You Choose Fish for your Tank; or a Tank for your Fish???

I think that's how a lot of people evolve -- buy first tank, realize you need bigger tank, buy bigger tank, realize you need still bigger tank, and on and on. Of course, you don't trade them in or sell them, just keep filling and filling...

My primary fish are not that large, but I like to keep the species separate to avoid any potential hybridization, so probably as the rare exception here on MFK I would rather have many 75-gals than one very large tank.

Of course, I would prefer to have a large tank and many smaller ones too!
 
I planned it out so I could use my fish as an excuse to upgrade from my 150tall to the 220 :D other wise my family would just say, you dont need a bigger tank...
 
Before I got the 180, my main tank was my 75. The fish I kept then were chosen for that size tank. Then, I bought my ray and up-graded.

Yeah, I'm considering some stepped-up breeding so I will be "forced" to purchase another tank.
