Seeing that you would do already lost your motoro, I would do 100% water change, but bump the heat up a bit, and hope for the best

Ouch. Your params where they supposed to be? Prazi can crash bio filters I heard, that motoro seemed to have turned for the worse pretty quickly.

Unfortunately I think you are in crunch time right now. I feel like you immediately have to start mitigating, and your next moves will have to be very careful and planned out. No lights, no stressors, medicate when you are sure you need to with what you need to, I personally wouldn't shock with massive water changes but I would consider 10% twice a day if you can, and pray man. Did you by chance spray aerosol near the tank or have someone spill something in it or something? I find the quick decline to be uncharacteristic of a stray pathogen, I feel like there must be a catalyst. Maybe others can chime in but if it were fungal that is pretty damn aggressive for fungal isn't it?

Whatever it is its aggressive. Maybe bacterial infection? My lights are off and I'm doing water changes as normal. My parameters are all good. No sprays in the garage or cleaners. I'm thinking of dosing my tank with an all round bac med but only if my other 2 rays show signs of infection that they aren't beating. Since the motoro died I will take a chance with meds because I've seen the final outcome of not treating already.

If its showing external damage such as disc deterioration I would consider Nitrofuazone. Its designed for disc rot and other external bacterial. I know that med such as Kanamycyn work well for internal bacterial. Also Kanamycyn combined with Nitrofurazone can cover external and internal.

Read below on the different meds. Lots of these can be bought in bulk from online places such as Jehmco. Dont know your whole situation so you must read and evaluate your situation and make your best call. Sometime desperate times call for desperate measures.
It saved 4 out of 6 mature rays for me a year and half ago. And two died within the first 6 days. I truly believe if I hadnt medicated I woyld had lost all.

Was wondering how your Snow was doing. Did you treat with meds or stick to water changes and salts?

The snow leopards started eating so I just kept up with good water changes adding nothing else. Sometimes I try to hard to save a fish and if I had left it alone it would have been fine. Both snows are doing great. Only 2 losses

Glad to hear.....
