Exodons and Cichlids

they seem really hyper active tell you the truth and that might actually annoy a cichlid. If you keep them in a pack, they will most likely keep the chasing to themselves, make sure you cichlids are bigger then them and will always be. Should be fine, bet they would make a decent dither fish for big jags or pikes, maybe. I dont know for sure on that though.

I bet a lot of things would eat them. Probably anything that is over 7" would try and snatch them up... Its not like they're little monsters or anything, they're bite sized Tetras that like some meat. A cool fish by itself I think but its not like they're able to hang with big boys.
 
Uarus, maybe. they might be too slow to keep away from persistent nipping (and I mean general nipping, not scale-eating). With geos, I doubt they'd be able to resist any long extensions that develop on their fins.
Think of them like Buenos Aires tetras. BA's are fast, aggressive nippy little SOB's. Whatever you would keep BA's with you wouldn't want to keep Exodon with.
