do you listen?

yes... but "they might/ if it fits in their mouth/ they CAN/ im PRETTY sure/ it depends/ they wont/ they cant/ they just nibble" and "possibly" aren't very clear :(

i want a video or at least undeniable yes or no. and if they shred the cricket until it disappears completely like piranhas would do in pinkies.

its just that ive been burned millions of times by the "near positive" answers when it comes to what i buy and what its capable of, i end up holding my breath and going for it only to turn up unfulfilled. like when i bought my africans the store owner said they will shred crickets and guppies but they dont even notice crickets and kill guppies w.o. eating them... they ended up being pests in the tank.

feel me on this one, if im gonna fork 10 bucks each on these tiny fish i wanna know everything is certain and i will get what i payed to see. beautiful fish with piranha flavor

every individual fish is different. some cichlids will not eat live food no matter what. does that mean all cichlids will not eat feeders? NO. its the same with all other fish.

bugs are a part of their natural diet, but again, its best to get them on pellets and other prepared foods anyway, so theres really no need to use feeders of any kind in a captive environment.
all your questions have already been answered on page 1 and 2. if youre not satisfied that you have been given a definitive answer, then maybe you should buy a goldfish and move on.

I used to feed crickets to my exo's. You should feed them wax worms too. Really neat to watch, but the wax worms are gone super fast.

thank you.

bitteraspecs i can catch better fish than roach fish like that. don't ever say that to me or any other person on mfk, they woulda joined ****fish forums or something.

yes the fish are different to a certain extent. but there is always that certain food spectrum that the species was "designed for" so to speak. in the case of, lets say, red devils eating feeders. they probably would never choose to go after them if there is a snail near by which they naturally eat for food. sometimes the fish is just eating the other fish because its small and annoys their territory. and yet their owner feed them feeders because "they've seen it eat one before". but you can bet money that ANY red devil will eat the foods it naturally evolved around, no matter what its personality is like.

an oscar will eat grapes and carrots but cmon now... u know thats not what its been evolved around eating for thousands of years. not even in the same class of food either.

in a way this is like someone saying "my red belly wont eat fish" when this is impossible unless it was deformed mentally and would be one of the RBs to die in the wild. so there is always something exos were evolved around eating in the wild. wasnt insects one of them?

i just want to confirm this. im surprised there is no video on youtube of exos eating any bugs. that has nice entertainment value and they would rather film what they feed it for staple... (cube foods etc...)
