Exodons in a sort of 20 gallon?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Ok. So what I was trying to say is that 2-10 gallon tanks side by side would be 40"x12"x10" and a 20 gallon long is 30"x12"x 12". So you would be saving space with the same volume of water

But I'm not getting rid of the 2 tens. Which is why I'm trying to make this work

IN ALL HONESTY,

If you're unwilling to upgrade beyond a ten for a 'monster' fish as basic as an exodon, you're probably on the wrong site. If you really want to stick to a ten gallon limit, stick with fancy guppies or a betta. I'm not saying that to be a dick, it's just the truth; beyond guppies, bettas and maybe something like neon tetras, there's really not much you can keep in a 10 gallon, and certainly nothing monster. No matter how many different ways you word the same question, you're gonna keep getting the same answer.

If you're going to do it, go all the way and do it correctly. You'll never get the desired result if you don't put full effort into it.

So by this logic I can't be a monster fish keeper if I'm running out of space.

Thanks for the support and understanding.

His point is that if you want to keep "monster fish" that are aggressive and require space, you need to provide them with a suitable sized tank. If you don't have the space to do this, then you can't keep the type of fish you want, such as exodons. He 's just saying that with a tank that size, it's really only good as a small community type tank with non aggressive fish that aren't very active. You put a group of exodons in that small of tank, you're going to only have one left any way.
