This is my gold wolf fish! Quickly becoming a favorite fish of mine. Will get some of the baby rainbow wolfs later.
Hoping the gold wolf shows my temensis peacock bass who is boss soon. My juvinelle pbass is chasing him ugh.

I’ve always been afraid to try tank mates with my gold since his first day he tried to murder a catfish. But I was forced to put my Hujeta with him and so far they’re hanging out like buds

Very peaceful. Does not go after anyone. He's actually getting chased by a similar size temensis pbass. Actually thinking about rehoming the pbass if it don't stop.

Id definitely choose the wolf over the pbass

You could try a timeout tank for a few days since the bass was their first

Update: The gold wolffish is doing amazing! Eating well and putting on some size.
I gave my dad the rainbow wolffish for Christmas.
I had to do it.... temptation got the best of me. Saw that Steve had baby black wolf fish in stock. So I went ahead and purchased one. Not the 2-3'' ones but I decided to get the 4-5'' $150 one. I am going to try him with severums, chocolates, flagtails, and the gold wolf. if he gets to be too much he'll be in a 55 for a while till my 210 comes in.

Paitently awaiting my black wolf to be shipped. He won't ship him this week due to snow storms in his area.
But am happy he wants the shipment to be perfect weather..
When he arrives, I am going to rearrange tank to prevent aggression from the severums and my pbass.
