Expert assistance requested - can anyone identify this CA/SA cichlid?

You should get something else that tank is too small for an Oscar.
I agree, it will only work in that size tank until about half grown.
I you di try it, once it hits about 6" you will need to do every other day 50% water changes. As a 12" + adult, daily 80% water changes.
If you don't, it will likely come down with hole in the head disease, and be scarred up as an adult.
In that size tank, only dwarf cichlids that get no larger than 6" would be humane.

Agree with both comments above. They're big fish, notoriously messy eaters, produce lots of waste and should have a bigger tank, bigger filter, bigger water changes. Unfortunately, some online articles suggest tank sizes that amount to having them live in a suitcase. Not only can you keep them healthier, but they make a better display, with more interesting and closer to natural behavior in a bigger tank.

Hi guys I have a 64 gallon fish tank and was wondering if I could put and 4-5 inch albino oscar in there on his own I have never kept Oscars but I have kept other chiclids it’s a normal internal juwel filter and a water change every 2 weeks could i or should I get something else ?
