I met a guy the other day and was talking to me about his pump I forget the brand but its a pretty big pump cause what he intended to to was pump water from basement up to the nest floor. But the cool thing about his pump that he said was that when you hook a ball valve on and cut off some of the flow the energy used on the pump drops. Is it like that with all external pumps?

That is a Sequence pump. I'm running one on my big tank. They are very quiet and efficient pumps.

Is that the name brand of your pump?

I just found the name of the pump I mention its called reeflo hammerhead. Has anyone had experience with this model?

we had a little giant that was awsome till the end . we got a rio to replace it and I am quite surprised by how well it works.

I thinks it amazing how it works to uses less electricty. But how can u really check that and is that what the company claims? If it really works I want one

i have a turbo seas pump had it for 6 yrs now with no problems at all havent even needed to change the impellor......alil salty in cost but loven it
