extinct turtle

Once my mom herd two woman talking in a shop about a iguana that excaped in a flat in wich one of them lives. Then the other asked what the hell is a iguana? The anser:"Its a kind of crocodile that has huge claws and can climb walls with them":ROFL::screwy::grinno: My mom even thougth for a sec to interropt the talking to educate them but then quit. Its because of people like this that we get more and more legislation condicioning our hobby:(

i guess i talked to a crazy lady haha because i called to find out the exact name for you guys and the lady said the one lady i spoke to has no clue what she was talking about because they are just protected turtles in nj and NOT EXTINCT and you are not aloud to keep one or touch them here in jersey she said he was found left in a swimming pool because someone kept the turtle in there freshwater aquarium and it developed a bone desease(forget what it was called) because they are brackish water turtles...it is called the "diamondback terapin turtle" sorry for misleading everyone but it was the crazy ladys fault not mine i was just sharing the experience with you guys haha again sorry about that
