Thank you all for the kind words. The male no longer has two front teeth. He somehow managed to lose one of them. Im assuming he smashed into something and knocked it out He has become beligerently aggressive as some of the fry are still in the tank. Does anyone know if the tooth will grow back? I also have some fry available for sale or trade. Let me know if you are interested.

It seems they knock their teeth out while glass-banging. I thought that was total BS for years until I started making an effort NOT to antagonize my big male. Every since doing that he's got a nice set of choppers!

Your dovii should grow them back over time.

My pair looks just like yours. When I get back to cali I'll take some pics of them. they are in my 120g at my buddies who looking after them for me but these pics makes me wish I can bring them here to maryland. Nice job!! Maybe I'll get a fry when I find a good tank for them. Im still looking
