I never once questioned if your jd's weren't wild, nor did I question the validity of your source. I never said your people didn't go get them. In fact, I even posted that I was glad they did. I have no reason to doubt your claims, despite your childishness. I still don't. Others have by why you are directing it at me, I have no clue. Take about not making any sense.

My want to know who is collecting has nothing to do with it being real or legit, simply knowing if they can collect again or differant species from the same area. Asking about that does nothing to detract from your people or the validity of their collecting. ... but you making things up about posts deffinately does.

And where did you pull the Don Conkel comments from? I never once mentioned him, pro or con in this whole thing.

You are right about Rapps, I don't know 100% that they are wild. I would trust his reputation that he's earned through the years.

But since your reading comprehension is subpar, and I'm tired of feeling like I'm banging my head against the wall, I'll leave it at this.

As I posted before on this thread the dempseys are from Rio Naranja, I have sold hundreds of wild and f1 fish to members on this site and NONE have complained about the quality of the fish. Seriously I have only had positive feedback and would never try to rip off anyone I deal with my reputation limited as it is speaks volumes. Many members have been to my facility I even hosted A MFK Meet & Greet which had a tremendous response my doors open daily feel free to stop by and check out the fish. Last week a vendor called Kareef about some fish he had and Kareef told him he was getting his fish from me the vendor had some negative comments including the fact that my fish were not wild and my sources were not reliable. Some of the comments on this thread sound just like the conversation Kareef had with this vendor last week. Personally this back stabbing is beneath me. To all the members that have supported me I am truly grateful and if you will take a few minutes to post some pics of the fish you have recieved and comment on the service you recieved that would be great. You can depend on me to continue providing top quality fish at reasonable prices and customer service second to none. My fish are great if I do say so myself, I take great care of them and only sell the best.

For what its worth I went to Iras meet and greet.He has a first class operation with some of the cleanest tanks I have ever seen..His fish are top notch .He is very willing to help answer all questions and concerns.I have a pair of his F0 yellow Dovii that just produced wigglers.Ill took his word that these fish are F0..and if there not im still very happy with the fish .Thanks Ira!

cool i understand but Ira told everyone on this thread where it came from so if you read this whole thread you would see what river they came from, and about rapps i spent mad money with him, but that dont make his fish wild either because he dont collect so basically you believe what he tells you and we believe him because he has been in the business longer and people vouch for him, do you understand

I completely understand. I am in no way questioning your fish or Ira. I have not bought from him yet but was thinking about contacting him for some centrals in the future. If I can talk to him and feel good about what I am getting then that is great. In the end you have to trust what the seller says and a well educated seller can trick most people. But if you sell false stuff enough times you will get caught and your reputation will be crap. In the end most sellers get there fish from the same places anyway

I read the whole thread, I did not question your fish or were it came from. I saw Ira's post. I just made a statement that everyone should inquire from there sellers about the fish they are buying and that the seller should know this information. That is all that I was saying.

Again, although I don't know him, no one is accusing Ira of not selling what he claims to sell, or not being a good guy, or having dirty tanks...

Maybe I'm just sick of the seemingly mis-directed values apparent here:

- When did the hobby become about bragging rights and showing off?

- When did smuggling wildlife out of a 3rd world country become something to be commended?

- When did not getting caught / getting bribes accepted make something illegal acceptable?

- When did the keeping fish in glass boxes become more important than caring about and preserving their habitats?

Post pictures of a fish from a really rarely collected place and you're going to get a lot of questions...
