F1 Umbee and WC Beani

Since this fish isn't sporting its adult color, which then would be a dead give away. You then have to take a look at the shape of the body of the fish. With Umbriferum you will find that the males body is a bit more elongated as oppose to the more stocky, squattier females. The Umbee in the picture has that elongated body. Hard to explain but I see male.

Thanks Chris...I see the elongated body for sure on my male. It was just that whole darkness in the dorsal...maybe my mind is playing tricks on me:nilly:

:screwy: why do you question the legitimacy of the claim? Not like it can not be done or is not being done. Umbeeking acquired wild imported Umbee this in 08' and they also do come in from time to time in FL where Conkel is located, so I don't see why an F1 claim is hard to fathom. We no longer live in the world where getting your hands on wild Umbee is not possible;)

Thanks again Joe for bringing such a rare fish to not only my but other people's home. Now hopefully you can go on your next trip ASAP and get us some more beautiful fishes :D
