thanks for the tip... it must involve quite a bit to have a bee keeping business,.... i see them around here in upstate ny ... i will have to talk to them some time in warmer weather.. would love to hear about it..

I had one hive/bee structure with screen that keeps queen bee in but workers can get in and out but it didnt pan out.


It wasnt a good idea and the bee's took off think due to African bee's . I got stung to much lol.

Suffolk ,Brookhaven moved here to S.Florida bit over year ago as transfered from work but miss Long Island a lot and not sure yet whether will stay or go back.

HATE the cold -snow-ice do not miss that.

as a chef i would have to say this the most dangerous thing about foods now adays is the preservatives and flavour additives/enhancers used

if only people could realize that preservatives not only preserve the food but the body the food goes in

ive no doubt that honey has such curative powers look at where it comes from all that life which is contained in pollen and the life blood of flowers can be nothing but good

yes the worse additive is MSG for me... makes you so thirsty and keeps me awake... so i have to be careful not to get too much of it...

Thats because you can not get used to Florida once you have lived in NY be it Long Island,Queens, upstate,etc.

I am not sure if staying must say LOVE the nature but thats it . If I do stay will buy house with lake that goes by yard as love fishing .

you should buy a big piece of property upstate ny... nice stream running through as your nestled in your little cabin.. i loved the nature in florida... no doubt about it.. but really hated those fire ants... started to look at the ground all the time.. armadilla in my pool.. spider the size of my two hands.. {banana spider} no seeums... they go right through the screen and get you..but on the other hand i look out my window now and there is about 3 ft of snow on the ground..
