fader or red devil?

hi, when i bought this from my lfs, he told me that it's a fader[fh] after two montths he saw it and told me that it was a red devil and gave an additional fader. now i want your opinion on this and pls i.d this fish for me. i also want to know whether this is male or female

the above is taken when the fish was 2.5"
