That would be an interesting tank! 20 clown loaches zipping around the tank as a 16" fahaka chases them...

Well I kinda thought that too so I put 2 loaches with my fahaka it took 2 days but he finally caught up with 1

Ironic... My fahaka is in with 2 convicts, both male, and the cons beat each other up more than the fahaka does. The pleco in there however is missing his tail.

problem solved . i threw my dorado in there.hopufully the fahaka will bite his nose and teach him a lesson. dorado 8-9 inches. fahaka 3 inches. dorado does not bother fahaka and fahaka is to small to mess with dorado. temporary mix. 3 mos at most

cool...keep us updated!

Haha, yeah that probably won't last long, but then again the cons in my fahaka's tank are still there, and I didn't even think they'd last 2 days.

apparently u dont know much about dorados. they make ur convicts look like goldfish

I know plenty about dorados, but it still won't last long against a big fahaka. Cons are meant to be feeders, but they won't die.

I have my 3 inch fahaka in a 55 with two burmese loaches around 2.5 to 3 inchs and the loaches seem to be cleaning the fahaka...It's funny...the fahaka doesn't even seem to mind... i but in a two inch cray fish and that got torn up in seconds however he seems fine with the loaches.

so far mine eats grass shrimp, and today for the first time I got him to eat a piece of cut up shrimp- SO HAPPY( I didin't want to only feed live food!)- any way, the point is there are also regular feeder type guppies that ended up in there and they are living with him, no problem- and yes, they were quatantined for a long time before they ended up in there-

my lungfish was the same way- if it was too small for him to notice, they lived together fine. I'd try something fast (and cheap) like zebra danios or something.
