Gr8, that is a very rare occurance to find that fahaka, and to find a lfs that will let you switch them out until you find the one you like.

if u have a small cave or something the fahaka cant get in then a pike of some sort may work. put the pike in first and let him find his cave then later on add the puffer and the only time the pike should come out is when u drop krill down to his cave he will stick his head out and grab some . that may work. a dorado of equal size may work too cause the dorado is lightning in a bottle. it kinda is funny though cause my buddy had a pignose puffer which are badasses too and his wouldnt live with anything accept a gold gourami. go figure

fahakas i wouldnt bother trying with anything. smurf, im suprised your ray and puffer got on, esp. a fahaka. some people try smaller faster fish, but even they start to disappear...
Fahakas, are not good with the public relations, but they are one of the most interesting fish to keep.
I keep a fahaka with a panda garra. Don't dream of keeping cichlids or big fish with it, the only reason the garra works is because he's small, fast, nad has loads of places to hide. I originally moved him in there because he was pestering my other fish, now he's a permanent resident.

fahakas are probly the coolest fish to keep if i had a choice only to keep one fish...it would definately be a fahaka....however..if you want a cool puffer with tank mates, invest in a tank that is 7 feet long by 3 feet wide by 3 feet high, and get a mbu puffer there pretty good with tank mates but you must have a big tank
