Thats very typical pricing. If you can buy them for 5-10 bucks each your very lucky. The amount of work that has to go into breeding and raising these suckers is tough. Most blue jacks are hard to raise past the 2 inch mark in most cases but I have a buddy breeding probably the best quality Blue Jacks available. His are super hardy and he went to large extents to bring the genetics up. Most of what your buying is from Asia and are not built for the long haul. That said if a retailer is asking 40 buscks a pop and they came from my buddy they would be worth it. Most stores that are buying his are selling them for between 25-35 bucks each depending on thier mark up. I think hes a member on here but check out his stock...amazing!
