Fake 100$ bill what to do

The guy contact me back and we gona go to the police station later on today he say the don't give to me tinking is fake he say it take from the atm

As a last resort, how is that bad? The police office will take your hundred and not refund you, if this guy he got it from never called him back as we know now he did but if he didn't. I doubt you would just give it away be honest.

If the guy really didn't know the bill was counterfit then you can't expect him to give you another $100 to replace it. How does he know you're not trying to pull a fast one on him? If he does replace it with a real bill then I would think he knew what he was doing. Either way it's a sticky situation, if you go with him to the police thay might make him pay you the $100 or return the fish. Since he never really paid for the fish to begin with. Hopfully you can stay out of small claims court.

I sold 3 fish and the guy pay me with 100 $ dollar bill,and yesterday i try to deposit it in the ATM and the money is fake now i don't no what to do i call the guy who gave it to me but He don't answer my call so what next should i report to the police ???

Fake $ is no joke. Is there proof of this transaction? like emails or texts? If so call the police, more then likely your out 100$ but at least he will get his in jail. Could be he didn't know it was fake.

On another note check your money when you get it. Hold it up to the light look for the imprint/watermark of the presidents face and or the silver vertical strip that runs down the bill which states the denomination of the bill!

Or load up the boys and go knock on his door!

Actually in the u.s you cant get into trouble for having a fake bill with you or trying to use it accidentally. Because there are a lot more fake bills in circulation than we really know about. Its said that about 50% percent of americans have come in contact with fake money and passed it on. Unless you take it to the bank or its a hundred dollar bill, which in most cases are checked at any register. If you have multiple fake bills with you then its a federal offense. If its just one, the police will most likely let you go, because most likely someone has given it to you and you haven't even realized it yet. but will keep you under close watch for a while. But its always smarter to just report it and give it to the cops.
