This is a male Kestrel that we let go (not actual photo) after we trapped a female. We were looking for a female because female raptors are generally bigger and stronger for catching bigger game. I hated to let the male go because he is so pretty to look at.

Ling, don't let the male go I can alway take it for you....lol... very nice birds...
