Marbled hoplo catfish do well and are crazy active all the time. Mine eat from the top all the time.

Can common plecostomus or silver dollars be kept with fancy goldfish? I'd like to have a school of silver dollars with my fancy goldfish if possible

I would think that it's important to focus on the size of tankmates. Goldfish will gladly to eat smaller plecos and corys if they can fit in goldfish's mouth.

If the plecos are that small to be eaten, the goldfish are going to choke on them.

Nope. Bad idea all around. Plecos are poop machines. Silver dollars are skittish.

already knew about it man. Even they don't have a stomach, they're still capable to digest small fish and inverts.
