I know some of us are fans of the show.. and I actually didn't really look into this until I was curious about the latest Deadliest catch update on this season.. Season 6 ....
Captain Phil Harris had a stroke while offloading crab on January 30, 2010... He was recovered to be doing better following the next week.. Sadly.. today it was reported that Captain Phil of the Cornelia Marie, passed away at age 53...
Captain Phil was in the process of starting the Opilios crab season.... if you're familiar with the show.. This would be part two of the Crab fishing season in Alaska..
I started watching this show back in 2005.....So I'm feeling the lost right now.. I don't think Deadliest catch would be quite the same without him... I hope that Captain Phil's son Jake and Josh will carry on their father''s business... (fingers cross)
But i'm sure we all know.. Deadliest Catch has lost a great Captain...
