Don't know s--t about birds, they scare me. Coyotes make lousy pets if you want a dog, they act like cats and tend to nip and run off when they get around a year old,( I am not the only one who has tried this) Bobcats make great pets if you don't mind bleeding every once in a while but they are one person pets and not to be trusted with other pets or children ( much like a cougar or caracal.) I haven't seen any for sale legally for years. Redtailfool, lions and bengal usually require a permit but it is easy to get, kits run around 3-5 thousand and there are several dozen suppliers in the states, just look up catteries- exotic to find them. Albinos cost more and tend to have weak immune systems and be partially blind. The strains here in the states are mainly related and smaller than their wild cousins. They will eat around 10% of their weight per week once adults so that works out to 10-15 lbs a day of meat and the same of cat food.
