Farlowella anyone? Experience IDing? Show your TWIG CATS (several genera)

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I’ve always worked on a tank with low flow. A powerhead providing an are a of laminate flow but overall more areas without for farlowella and sturio. Although for breeding a spray bar spraying oxygen rich water down one aquarium wall was desirable.
I believe that practical fishkeeping magazine gave written numerous articles on these species.

Even though I initiated this thread quite a while ago, I have been silent to the recent postings here. Just as explanation, that is because unfortunately I lost the twig cat in the first pictures, to a freak accident some months ago. I am still moping about it.
Beautiful fish and wonderful pictures and stories posted recently. Hopefully I get more sometime, but I don’t buy fish frequently.
