To each his own. I found it the other way around. The Mustang being ugly and the other cars looking good.

I hope most of the movie is set in Japan. I would be disappointed if it's only a small part of the movie.

I never cared for the look of the new 350Z (loved the 300) and think Nissan makes good yet ugly as hell cars, look at an older Skyline, then look at the next one U-G-L-Y with no alaby. Then these kids put on obnoxious body kits, three story wings, fart trumpet exhaust systems, and an S-load of stickers. The stang I found beautiful becuase of the classic lines, just like older cars. As for it being set in Japan I believe most of it is, I'm on a car forum and got the email when they were looking for right hand drive cars. The first two movies honestly sucked anyway, though the Camaro, Cuda, and Skyline were sweet. Though I love how they destroyed the Mustang, and Vette and even the old Camaro and Cuda yet all the little ricers lived on, beside the first flick was just the same tired plot as Point Break, Drop Zone, and No Man's Land (not the lesbian porn flick).

Bodykits and mufflers dont bother me if they are done tastefully, or if they actually serve a purpose....post some pix up I have a body kit on my car........and its an oldsmobile

No replacement for displacement? Maybe in a straight line, but then why do cars have a steering wheel and roads have corners?

Muscle cars had their place but they are ancient now days, the japanese and europeans have advanced light years on automotive design since the 60's and 70's but the US and us Aussies seem to have stuck automotive technology in the "too hard" basket and prefer the easy way out by slapping a bigger engine in an inferior designed car!

I race against current model 'muscle cars' and they are no match for a japanese 2 litre turbo sports sedan - and no I'm not talking about drag racing! I like to go around corners as well as straight lines! The ciruit is where a cars true performance is shown
