No replacement for displacement? Maybe in a straight line, but then why do cars have a steering wheel and roads have corners?

Muscle cars had their place but they are ancient now days, the japanese and europeans have advanced light years on automotive design since the 60's and 70's but the US and us Aussies seem to have stuck automotive technology in the "too hard" basket and prefer the easy way out by slapping a bigger engine in an inferior designed car! :(

I race against current model 'muscle cars' and they are no match for a japanese 2 litre turbo sports sedan - and no I'm not talking about drag racing! I like to go around corners as well as straight lines! The ciruit is where a cars true performance is shown ;)

07 Cobra, 06 ZO6.....Thought we covered this already.....I dont see any imports winning the Le Mans GT1 GT2 classes! I think the go around corners quite well!

You can turbo anything, juice it, or blow it! But where the ture power comes from is teh bottom end....CUBIC INCH.....Whatever a honda or mitsu****si can do....Domestics can do better.....

Bodykits and mufflers dont bother me if they are done tastefully, or if they actually serve a purpose....post some pix up:) I have a body kit on my car........and its an oldsmobile

Agreed the key word is tasteful though. That ricecop site was funny. That's even worse what are those folks doing to their cars LOL! Hey Trust if you're car is done well like a little lip spoiler, and a body kit that looks good I probably would like it.

I agree with you...most of the kits they put on those cars destroys them...but veilside and others make some sweet kits for FD's and supras.

I'm sure the acting will be terrible again though haha[/QUOTE]
