Hikari carnivore sinking pellet cut in half if your poly is under 3", tilapia cut in small cubes depends on the size of the poly. Some poly will eat algae wafers just from curiousity but they wont really eat veggies. Peas i havent try but tlindsey tlindsey mentioned some will eat it some wont. Live nightcrawlers are good source of protien cut it to small poeces depends on the poly size but if you want to see your poly deathroll then putt the whole worm,:)

Never fed frozen brine or multi pack but used live BBS for hatchling Senegal polypterus. I personally would offer small or broken pellets of variety vegetable, krill, earthworm, spirulina. Frozen small cut up pieces of tilapia, and shrimp. Live very small earthworm will be fine.
woah. I had no idea! Thank you so much. Going to fix that asap. What does BBS stand for?

for the tilapia: can I buy frozen or does it have to be fresh?
night crawlers and worms: can I go dig them up straight out of the backyard? or should they be purchased from a bait store?

what type of brand do you recommend for the pellets and veggie wafers?
do you thaw your frozen tilapia prior to feeding?

The last order of pellets were from Ken's fish but may have to find another source to get good pellets from, I cut up a whole Tilapia fillet into small and medium peices and yes I let thaw in a bowl of the aquarium water before pouring peices in.

Buy they frozen like the one they sell in your local grocery store in the frozen section, they in a big bag and the tilapia are in a individual pack. Worms you can dig from backyard but make sure you clean then first to make sure no other chemical go in the tank like soil fertilizer. It will be better to buy thw worm to save you more time cleaning.
