Favorite cichlid!

Gun to my head. I would have to go dovii. Just a great all around cichlid, but no time for a tank of that size with one fish.

I'm going to go real small..... Laetacara.
Next would be Nannacara.
Out of what I've kept, my avatar, the rainbow cichlid would have to be it. Archocentrus multispinosus.

Most of the time although when breeding he was darker. I've had him since maybe Oct/Nov last year and he was about 2" when I got him. He's fathered a load of fry to a female convict (sort of an accident). I made a thread about them here.

I agree. Is he meaner than a convict to? I just purchased two small ones male and female about 2" and they are nasty especially the female. Was thinking of getting rid of mine but not if they will turn out like that.

Not really, he has his moments though. Just now he is in a fairly crowded tank and he is behaving himself.

I don't know if I could pick just one, but I think maybe Oscar, although my Midevil and Uaru are super close. Medium cichlids I like Cons, Acaras, Geos/satanaperca, and small it would be Keyholes, followed by Bolivan rams.

Porkchop is a girl so not as big as the males but I would say at this point fully grown at about 13"+ or - a bit.
