Well a pretty good LFS that I have went to a few times was having problems selling all their oscars so they labled them dwarf oscars and said they can live in a 10 gallon their whole life.....But i guess they were wrong when some people went to another pet store and had to give the 6 inch oscar to them cuz it grew bigger then what the other LFS said.....confused ?

give the ferret lady some credit. some people wouldve said the heck with it. she came all the way there first thing in the morning to try to get it back

Yeah Ferret story is sad. If its still alive outside somewhere, I think there is some kinda food or something you can try and attract them with. Its worth a shot, she might have to set up a trap.
this one didnt happen to me personally, but i was right next to my friend when it happened.
this woman came up to check out some of her stuff, and notices my friend's name tag says "Flores." She asked him "Flores, thats a nice name, what nationality is that?" he responded, "oh, well thats my last name, its actually Puerto Rican, thank you." She says back "Puerto Rican? wow, i wasnt aware petco hired you people." i almost had to jump in front and hold him back, but i think she was lucky that hes a good guy and has a lot of self control, because after she left, i cant even begin to describe the words that were coming out of his mouth about her, some of them i wasnt even sure what they meant.
anyway...i cant believe that people, even in todays society, can be so racist like that woman was. by the way, she is a regular now and comes in the store about every 2 weeks, and of course, my friend is always working when she comes in.
