My dad used to listen to these guys when i was a kid, I always found it very chilled and pleasant.
I remember how shocked i ws when one of the members went on to become Fatboy Slim.
It's really weird that a lot of the music I listen to now, I wouldn't entertain when I was younger. Your tastes just change as you mature.

Once in a while I'll still listen to my old punk rock vinyl and CD's, but, as you can tell from the three I posted i'm just as happy nowadays with the melodic slow stuff.

A great example are The Housemartins. Most of their stuff was fast and catchy. When they split and became The Beautiful South I hated their music. Now The beautiful South are one of my go to bands when I'm chilling in my fish room.

A sure sign I'm getting very very old! Lol.
