pimelodus pictus. the have an attitude like a rtc, but in a 6 inch package. also maybe the banjo. they hide, but when they decide it is time to eat the look really cool when the come up to the surface. good idea for a thread btw...

i tried getting a pic of him where he was hiding, he barely fit between the rocks his belly was so fat, didnt turn out worth a crap, ill try tomorrow again when i feed him, so far in the last 16 days he has grown an inch
 
Thank you very much I am pretty interested in catfish, and am trying to learn about them, and see what the different varieties look like and their requirement's are. I appreciate your time.
 
well in that case youve come to the right place, there are many people on here with a wealth of knowledge that can help you find the answers to almost any catfish related question. when it comes to catfish there are sooooo many differant kinds that if you dont know what your getting you may wind up with a monster that eats everything, we try to avoid that if we can by passing up knowledgable information every chance we get. are you looking to possibly start keeping cats?
