Here in the UK they are in almost every aquatics shop I have been to.

To be fair you dont seem them at a large size very often but this guy was a brute - propably at about 5.5 inches and almost an inch thick. His shape reminded me of a mini midas.

My local LFS in Glasgow has them, at about an inch in size. Also seen some red festae for the first time in the shop, also at 1 inch. Alas I have no space left lol

Maybe someone local breeds them and ships out to the lfs here in hertfordshire / london area. If you ever over this way be sure to pick one up. They are only a few ££ but have really good character and very easy to breed!
