I saw an article claim there was going to be a spinoff of this but what it really is, is a web episode like they did before.

Meanwhile AMC has officially unveiled their spinoff web series Fear The Walking Dead: Flight 462, set during the time frame of Fear The Walking Dead as the zombie plague breaks out on an airplane:

This is what the show should have done. Focused on individual aspects of society breaking down (like they did the first 2 episodes) but broaden the scope

krich, as a big fan of the show I don't know why you haven't seen the webisodes. the first webisode season are only like 8-10 min each. web seasons 2 and 3 are like 10-15 min each episode
you can binge them really quickly. I think you'd enjoy them a lot.

That's why I used the term mini spoilers. Mini spoilers mostly tell less then what a trailer would. Just the fact that it mentioned airplane was why I tagged it.... Just in case someone wanted to be 100% in the dark.

you should watch them in order if you can. but the individual stories don't tie into each other or crossover, other than the fact that it's all the same universe.
