I meant to refer to Prometheus as a prequel not a spin-off....got a little twisted around in the wording.
I'll have to give it a serious view one day when I'm bored enough.I don't remember what the events therein were LOL.

I didn't think Prometheus was all that when I first saw it either

but after watching it again, I enjoyed it more after understanding some things that I didn't get at first

miss read the tittle. Was thinking fear started waking up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat over the things I did roofing back in the 80ies.

wife watched it tho and says it was OK. She says having problems connecting to the caractors(sp) like she did with the walking dead.

My problem with the walking dead, and prob the new one if i watched it is the shock value has worn off, after that need strong caractors(sp) and story line to carry the show.

curious how the next GoT season going to pan out.

anyways, back to ftwd.

I can accept it as a prequel and not a spinoff. the thing that made me see it as a spinoff is because it takes place at the same time as when the original wd started.

and this is where I don't like what they did. to do an ideal prequel to me would be to go much further back. hint at the origins of the sickness or something like that

They may hint at it....but it'll end up being a family drama with zombies aka TWD:LA....ultimately the goal is to create a second show and get paid off the same premises. I do like that comic readers can't spoil s*** on this one. I would've rather seen a second group existing at the exact same time as the original group with some crossover. Like they already do when the groups split up.

Maybe they'll do a movie to conquer your origins lol

not sure i'd want a movie tbh. this show is very overrated. it's talk show has way way more viewing than mad men's season finale. that's pretty crazy. and last season finale broke viewing records

If they do a movie, I would like different people behind it. not the show's team. I would want kirkman involved but that's it

I want it to go further back

just a few days before where fear started just shows us how it starts. plus where fear starts there is already said to have people getting sick for a while. it needs to go back further.

where did the virus come from? was it a military experiment that went wrong? a new strain of disease from animals in the Brazilian jungles that infected some American tourists? aliens dropped off the virus in an attempt to kill off the human race so that they may inhabit earth?

what the heck caused it???
