Fears?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I am afraid of dogs, not dogs I know of course but strange dogs. I nearly piss myself weh nI walk down a road and hear one barking. I carry dog treats just in case. I am also afraid of humans....very nasty cruel animals if you ask me. Driving, mostly in winter is scary. I am not afraid of t storms but this house I just moved in has a tin roof and no lightning rod so I am afraid when I am in this house. I would hate for it to get hit and kill my fish filters/lights/heaters.

agreed, dont join if you dont want see, or are afraid, of combat.

im not sure if this was in reference to my post but to make it clear, i am not so much afraid of combat completly, it is after all what i signed up for, ive proudly served for over 5 years, and am willing to go all the way until retirement. now that doesnt mean i am not completley unafraid. Fear is partly what keeps you alive. i will go when they say go, as i have done every time in the past, and as i am going to do again this november. My fear is having to leave my family and a newborn baby (here in a few days or so) behind and the possibility of not coming back to them. tha tis what really scares me. I trust in my training and i trust every member that i am blessed to serve with US and allied. I know and undrestand the very real possiblity of harm or death. and though i do fear it, it is still my job and i will perform as needed for as long as needed. i know many servicemembers and veterans can see where i am coming from. and would possibly agree that fear plays role in surviving. then again, maybe im just wrong.

wow looks like I started a he!! of a thread...

I also forgot to mention I'm scared of riding the "el" but I do it everyday :( (the el is the elevated train in Philadelphia who those of you who didn't know)

theres a differnece between being afraid and living for the moment

i admire copurage as well but sure, you may not be afraid of a battkle where the odds are even or in your favor but naturally when the tides turn you fear death or try and make it out alive or take down as many of them as possible before you innevitably fall to them

live for the moment

I thought of something else I'm not really afraid of, but can't STAND!

I absolutely **HATE** people touching my feet in any way/shape/form. Whether its a doctor, someone tickeling me, what have you, I **HATE** it!

My sister says that her biggest fear is answering personal questions online.

Guppy,

I absolutely agree with your sister... Personally, I don't think asking about peoples fears is considered a personal question, unlike "What do you do for a living" or anything of those sorts which is WAY more personal.

Tsk, tsk. Guess what? You don't HAVE to answer anything. It really is just that simple.
