NAh i wouldnt trust any store feeders anymore, ESPECIALLY comet goldfish! I lost a Aro to them, when my Grandmother fed him sick feeders. Gut loading is injecting the fish with more nutrients to satisfy the fish's "Food Pyramid". Make sure you DEFINITELY DO NOT PUT THE FEEDER FISH WATER IN YOUR AQUARIUM!!
what you feeding by the way? JW

I do feed stick and pellets but i do feeders ever other day or so just to watch them take it down . lol i am feeding 2 oscars 1 aro 1 dat and 3 bichirs

Feeder fish are like the overnight burrito stand on your corner - you never know what you'll get. Anyway, Oscars need more vegies than feeder fish protein. Like you should take a salad instead of the prime rib at every meal. If given the choice would you take the rib instead? He - yes. Better for you? Every time? No.
Try freezing some spinach leaves and then giving them to 'em. I'll bet they suck 'em right up!

imo feeders are okay once in a great while just be sure to qaurnt. them for at least two weeks...

just my .02
