Aye, they get HUGE! The Henry Dorly Zoo in Omaha, Nebraska has some in its Lied Jungle that are HUGE!! Amazing turtles!! Bad attitudes too!! Haha! That chick is either photoshopped in or VERY brave.

As cute as they are, feeders are feeders. But good on you for compassion and giving this 'what would have been fish food' a good home.
No such chance of getting turtles cheap and easily here in the UK, let alone as feeders!
