What are NLS? I have been trying to figure out what types of snails are good for my clowns

MTS are malaysian trumpet snails. NLS stands for "New Life Spectrum" I think... its a fantastic commercially made fish food, but its tough to find sometimes.

I dont think Ive seen em look any better. Is it because of what theyre fed?

my clown loaches eat the most out of all my fish
they go straight to the top of the tank whenever i drop in any kind of food
and i agree with toomanytoys, shrimp pellets are great for the clown loaches because it sinks to the bottom

I just recently got some clown loaches about a month ago, and i've been feeding them with rich tropical fish flakes and blood worms, and only one loach has been getting significantly bigger. Do you know why? I heard its just because i have an alpha loach in my tank, so he goes after the food quicker.

I've found certain loaches grow better on some foods and others better on other foods. Vary the diet more and you may see better results. Don't beat yourself up though as loaches have very variable growth rates.
