so i found out that my savannah monitor loves hard-boiled eggs, i was just wondering how often he can be fed eggs. Insects are still his staple and the eggs will be supplementary

I fed mine more eggs than insects. hard boiled or scrambled. he loves them and they are good for him too.

I feed hard boiled eggs twice a week to my arg tegu

do you use just the whites or the yolk too?

they yolk is the nutritious part. not a whole lot of anything in the egg whites...

thats what i thought but people kept saying don't use the yolk when i talked to them

Its because the yolk has cholesterol I think, I feed mainly whites with a few pieces of yolk.

Most likely, I've heard that croc eggs are part of their natural diet but don't quote me on that cause I haven't really looked into it.

I used to feed my sav and my dumeril's eggs; my water wouldn't touch them. If you have access to something smaller like quail eggs they will eat them whole...also I seem to recall fertile eggs are more nutritious. And yes, yolk and all. They will eat them raw too, they sort of "drink" them.
