I have had paddletail newts that LOVED than thrived on random (like once ever 2 weeks) leftovers of cooked chicken or salmon.
I have a juvi senegal bichir that just got its first taste of salmon. He went nuts for it, so did the Mbuna cichlid that lives with him. Also, my dads giant Danios and my remaining paddletail (they life together, in harmony...) went crazy for it as well. It was cooked with like a smidge of lemon, salt and pepper.
I want to know: Is it okay to feed "table scraps" of meat to your fish? I've seen raw fish be fed, but this is really awesome protein that I would otherwise throw out. I've had the paddletails flip out for pre-cooked shrimp, I was contemplating feeding this tank some of that as well. Might as well, if I am going to throw it out!
