how do you guys with greedy bass get food down to your bottom feeders ?
I have 2 PBass around 8-10" and a 14" aro.. they never let my TSN eat !!
they are solid on Massivore and market shrimp as a treat..
I tried a piece of PVC last night as a conduit to the bottom but the TSN freaked out and almost jumped out of the tank, giving me a bath in the process.. lol
help a n00b out !!

and since I know all posts need pics.. here are mine.. oh and can I get an ID too : )

Just keep adding massivore. Eventually hell miss a few or stop eating once he's full.

Keep feeding more til they wont eat. I have 6 greedy cichla that are 14-18" and my bottom feeders get food.

Don't overfeed - that's not a good thing - especially with filtration, etc. Simply feed them something the bass do not like. OR, put a handful of food in at once - instead of just a few at a time, and the bass won't be able to get it all, at once, allowing the cat to get some.

well there are 2 bass and the aro... I don't think they know what full is.. I seriously believe they would eat a whole bag if I let them.. lol
so far they eat everything I've offered to them : )
I have tried throwing a bunch at once.. I can try that again and hit both ends of the tank at the same time I guess.. thanks

I use the clear tubing for under gravel filters. They dont seem to mind it as much as it's harder to see.

use a piece of pvc and put it almost to the bottom and drop pelllets down

He tried PVC and said the TSN freaked as it can see the PVC. I use clear tubing, less intrucive.

clear might work.. but I bet the bass will follow it all the way down !
regular PVC freaked the TSN out.. and a 16" cat can make a mess of a sand bottomed tank in no time : o
